Terms and Conditions

To provide a creative outlet and forum of discussion for those who have been affected by breast cancer. Work should be ‘easy to absorb’ and honest. The magazine will present the positive side of breast cancer (i.e. how it inspires/inspired people to change their lives) but is also open to work that explores the darkness that accompanies a cancer diagnosis.  Narrative Nipple exhibits creative relief during and after a breast cancer battle – from diagnosis and treatment days to remission and beyond. The aim of this magazine is to foster a sense of community and inspiration.

This is a place where women can explore, think, laugh, cry and comment. It reflects the community of breast cancer fighters online, and encourages everyone’s inner artist to shine.

The magazine will contain rolling content, to be updated with the acceptance of successful submissions, and will produce a yearly soft-copy magazine through pdf which will be available to download for free. Narrative Nipple aims to incorporate high-quality literature and creative projects, and will accept work that we feel best suits our tone. Not all submissions will be accepted.

At this moment Narrative Nipple cannot pay those whose work is accepted for publication. We apologize for our inability to recognize the contributions with a monetary payment. We will, however, endeavour to promote all contributors to this site with links back to their own projects, pages, and/or accounts.

Narrative Nipple accepts simultaneous submissions, but if your work is published elsewhere, please let us know. We can only accept original, unpublished work, with the exception of personal websites/anthologies/blogs where you retain the copyright and are able to legally grant the rights set out in these terms. You retain ownership of any work accepted for online, soft-copy or hard-copy publication. However, by submitting to Narrative Nipple you grant us non-exclusive, worldwide, no-charge, royalty-free use of that work.
